Privacy Policy
Data I collect
I collect information you voluntarily provide through my contact form, including your name, email address, and the content of your message. I also use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymised usage data (pages visited, general location, device type, and clicks on links like the email button) to understand how visitors use the site.
How I use your data
Your contact form data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and to provide the services you have requested. Analytics data helps me improve the website and see which pages and links perform well. I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. Google Analytics does not identify you by name. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by using a browser with tracking protection enabled. I do not use advertising or remarketing cookies.
Third-party services
I use third-party services for website hosting (Netlify), form processing (Netlify Forms), and analytics (Google Analytics). These services may process data on my behalf, including outside New Zealand. Google's use of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Data retention
I retain contact form submissions and correspondence for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose of your enquiry and to maintain a record of the business relationship. Google Analytics data is retained in aggregate and does not identify individuals.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to the personal data I hold about you, to ask for corrections, or to request deletion. To exercise these rights, contact me at josh@collidecreatives.co. I will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
